What you are supposed to do in Retell lecture?

You have to retell a lecture that you hear.

What are the skills assessed in the Repeat sentence task?

Speaking and Listening.

How much time is given to answer a question?

10 seconds for the preparation and 40 seconds for answering.

Understanding the task process step by step:

1. The audio of a lecture starts playing automatically.
2. The status box displays count down starting from 10 seconds.
3. You hear a short tone or a beep sound once the preparation time of 10 seconds is over.
4. The status box now shows recording.
5. Once you see the recording, you have to retell the lecture in 40 seconds time.
6. When you are done with recording, click next immediately.

Note:

• After the 4th step, if you keep quiet for longer than 3 seconds the recording stops.
• You are provided with an erasable note pad and pen to take the notes.
